As the new school year approaches, please make sure your student-athlete is ready to participate in Gainesville ISD athletics. All incoming 7th, 9th, and 11th grade students must have a new physical on file before participating in any athletic activity, including athletic periods. UIL requires all athletes to complete online participation paperwork every year. Gainesville ISD uses Rank One for online forms. Students moving from Gainesville Junior High School (GJHS) to Gainesville High School (GHS) should not be marked as transfers. A student is only considered a transfer when moving from a different school district.
